ABOUT THE ROLE
TPA is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Analyst, Parking Development to support the delivery of parking technology projects across our On- and Off-Street parking portfolio. This role combines onsite testing of parking systems, backend/app validation, test script development, and data analysis/reporting to ensure a seamless parking experience for our customers. Reporting to the Manager, Parking Development, you will coordinate technology-based initiatives, design and execute structured test scripts, test new solutions in the field and virtually, and provide actionable insights through detailed reporting. You will work closely with Operations, IT, Finance, and external partners to ensure projects meet quality, performance, and customer experience goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, maintain, and execute test scripts for parking systems, mobile apps, and backend platforms to ensure consistent, repeatable testing.
- Conduct onsite testing of parking systems (gates, sensors, payment platforms) and validate functionality and ensure integration with mobile apps and backend systems.
- Perform virtual/backend testing of apps and systems including dashboards, and APIs, and payment platforms, simulating real-world scenarios to identify issues.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational and testing data, producing reports with actionable insights to improve system performance and user experience.
- Support project management, including planning to closeout, scope, quality, timeliness, sustainability, risk, strategic impact, project results, documenting, and tracking of project progress, KPIs, and budgets.
- Conduct field audits and operational reviews, recommending improvements to optimize processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project delivery and adoption.
- Evaluate contractor, service provider, and stakeholder performance using KPI frameworks and quantitative analysis; identify trends, gaps, and optimization opportunities, and deliver data-driven recommendations to improve service outcomes.
- Analyze and synthesize monthly project data, including KPIs, progress metrics, and outstanding issues; identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
- Complete other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Engineering, Planning, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, QA analysis, or technical analysis roles, preferably in technology or systems integration environments.
- Experience in creating and executing test scripts for apps, IoT devices, or field systems is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to translate complex data into insights and recommendations for business and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) or data systems (SAP) is an asset.
- Valid G driver’s license with access to a vehicle for site visits.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.

- Problem-solving and analytical thinking with the ability to draw actionable insights from data.
